The GEMS Annual Theme for Next Season is Be a Blessing

The 2018-2019 Annual Theme for GEMS Girls' Clubs is Be a Blessing. And the theme verse is 2 Corinthians 9:8: And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.

Be a Blessing will erase the cliché and confusion of what it means to be blessed. It will challenge girls and women to receive God’s blessings and eagerly share them with all peoples—so they can know Him, too.

The Annual Theme will be introduced to leaders at the GEMS Conference in July, and taught to girls throughout the year in a variety of ways including a badge study, a theme night, and lessons in SHINE brightly and Sparkle Magazines that help girls apply the theme to their lives. Bible lessons, devotionals, songs, creative movements, games, crafts, and service projects are all developed in an effort to increase understanding and make the theme relevant to girls.
