Missions Toolkit

Where do you begin in developing a robust active missions effort in your church? How do you reinvigorate a program that has run out of steam after decades of faithful effort? The Mission Toolkit contains a variety of resources such as Bible study materials, mission emphasis ideas, great books on Islam, missionary care, short-term missions and other topics vital to your congregation.

When we put the toolkit together we realized there was no sense reinventing the wheel; most of the resources in it were created by others and selected by us as some of the best tools available. Then we pared down the list even more to an annual Top Ten resources list. We did this last year and again just a week or so ago. Most of this year’s top ten were created and published in the last couple of years. They represent important pieces of the on-going conversation about the changing character of missions. The top ten listings are at the top of the Mission Toolkit page.

The 2011-2012 resource sheet has the "Plugged-in to Missions: ..." dvd set available for $49.99.  But the Faith Alive online store has it listed for $75.  Is this an error on the resource sheet or at the store website?

The price was to drop July 1, so the website is behind.  Just let Faith Alive know. I'll also remind them to change it.  SteveSteve

We have purchased the "Plugged-in to Missions:..." dvd set.  I have had a chance to view the dvd on Haiti and look at the Additional Resources cd.  I am very excited about using the set as the basis for a Global Missions Sunday school class this fall.
