PURPOSE: To promote and support the Global Coffee Break Program and Resonate Core Initiatives in churches and organizations by connecting leaders to a learning community, training, leader care, and coaching.
This position is part-time with an expectation to work 18 hours/week.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following
- Build and promote the program with Global Coffee Break groups and churches in North America.
- Build the Global Coffee Break Ministry learning community and provide leader care, training, and coaching.
- Identify and connect with Global Coffee Break Ministry leaders through email, phone, online, and/or in person. Ministry leaders include Global Coffee Break Directors, Coordinators, and Small Group Leaders.
- Support the needs of local Global Coffee Break Program Leaders.
- Plan and facilitate Coaching Clusters and shared learning events for Global Coffee Break Ministry leaders.
- Plan and facilitate workshops for designated communities
- Promote and market the Global Coffee Break Program by connecting with churches and ministries.
- Maintain and grow the database of Global Coffee Break contacts and donors
- Collaborate with the Global Coffee Break team to produce regular communication with North American partners and churches
- Collect and share regular ministry impact reports from North American partners and churches
- Actively contribute to the Global Coffee Break team initiatives and plans.
- Attend required annual training events and conferences related to the Global Coffee Break Program.
- Participate in the Global Coffee Break Team Meetings and areas of specialization.
- Collaborate with the Eastern and Western Canada Regional team, working together to develop strategy, and set goals for mission-shaped ministry in the region, in collaboration with local and global partners.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Professing membership in a Christian Reformed congregation, or of a church in ecclesiastical fellowship with the CRCNA, and agreement with the doctrine of the church signified by signing a covenant statement
- Experience in Global Coffee Break or Small Group leadership.
- The ability to facilitate adult learning workshops.
- The ability to promote the Global Coffee Break program with enthusiasm and tact.
- Demonstrated ability to work with individuals with various work and cultural backgrounds (e.g. pastors, lay leaders, etc.)
- Self-starter with organization skills and time management disciplines.
- Freedom to travel domestically or internationally as necessary.
- Demonstrated competency with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, and other software, as needed.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Four-year degree preferred.
- At least two years of relevant work experience is preferred.
- Significant experience in training, public speaking, and identifying leaders is required.
- Demonstrated experience in small group leadership.
