Advent is a time of waiting. It's a reminder that we live, as Bonnie wrote, in the 'not yet' spaces.

Things are not as they should be. We know longing a little too well. We have grieved losses of all kinds. We have been deeply disappointed. We have come face to face with our own sin. We know, we have experienced, that things are not yet how God intended them to be.
