(re) Introducing Jolanda

This week we’re glad to welcome Jolanda Howe to a new role with The Network.

Jolanda is in her second stint as guide of the Sunday School area. And she was one of the original guides when we started The Network four years ago.

But now, she’ll be serving as our Community and Content Manager. You may recall that Jonathan Wilson had filled this role. He recently took a position with another organization (congratulations, Jonathan!) and so we asked Jolanda to fill the gap.

It’s a great fit for Jolanda because she’s all about equipping people for ministry. She’s worked in churches as a youth director and coordinator of children’s ministry and is currently involved in some of the CRC’s faith formation initiatives.

In this role, Jolanda will serve as coach to our guides, review content and comments posted to The Network, and look for ways to encourage more people to connect with each other on The Network.

To read more about what community managers do, check out this Wikipedia article. You can even read about Community Manager Appreciation Day!

But we don’t have to wait until then to express our appreciation to Jolanda. Please join me in welcoming Jolanda to this new role of fostering The Network’s online community.
