Supporting Life With Prayer: 40 Day Prayer Guide

In December we mentioned a 40 day prayer guide called "Supporting Life with Prayer" which you can use in your devotions. The prayer guide calls "all Christians to pray for an end to abortion on demand and situations leading up to such a life-changing decision." That prayer guide is now available. You will find the 40 day prayer guide in the two attachments near the end of  this post. 

The following is an introduction written by Rev. Joel Boot:

A small group of believers meets regularly for prayer. They pray specifically for the preservation and enhancement of all life, recognizing it as a gift from God. They have prepared the following prayer calendar to be used for 40 days (often the Biblically stipulated time for a proper demonstration of faith) preceding the annual right-to-life Sunday in January.

Will you pray for them and with them? Wll you make your earnest pleas known to the God of all life? Will you pray that all of life will be honored and respected? And will you pray that our nation will once again be more concerned for the rights of all life, including the lives of the unborn?

I admire this little group that prays. I admire their interest in guiding your prayers. I admire their generous provision for the needs not only of the unborn but also the unwanted and those in great need. I encourage you to join them. Please use this prayer guide to that end.
