Circle of Grace Workshop: April 27th, 2021

BC Safe Church Ministry in partnership with CRCNA Faith Formation Ministries is hosting a workshop on Circle of Grace. This event will be hosted online on Tuesday, April 27th at 7:30pm (PDT), 10:30 pm (EDT). To participate in this event, register here.

Circle of Grace is meant to supplement a church education curriculum for 1-4 weeks out of the year for grades Kindergarten through 12. Safe Church ministry will support each church in establishing this program.

Circle of Grace is a Christian safe environment curriculum used and promoted in the CRCNA that helps teach the value of positive relationships with God and others. The program helps church leaders as they teach children and youth how to:

  • Identify and maintain appropriate physical, emotional, spiritual, and sexual boundaries
  • Recognize when boundary violations are about to occur
  • Demonstrate how to take action when boundaries are threatened or violated

Faye Martin and Liz Tolkamp will co-facilitate this event that will include an overview of the program, the importance of integrating it into your church community and provide an opportunity for questions and answers as you consider Circle of Grace for your church!
