Come to Me, a unique family “prayer book” now in development by Faith Alive, is an exciting new venture designed to bring families closer together and closer to God. We’re looking for families to field-test a sample of this book, which makes spending time with God a natural, doable, and meaningful part of family life.
Based on the format of Seeking God’s Face, Faith Alive’s bestselling prayer book for adults by Philip F. Reinders, Come to Me will include readings for all 365 days of the year. As we shape the prayer book, we’d like to find out what we’ve done well and what you suggest we change. To do that we’ve asked authors Lora Copley and Elizabeth VanderHaagen, both parents of young children, to create a sample of the book that we can field-test during Lent.
If you are interested in being one of our field-test families, visit FaithAliveResources.org/CometoMe by March 24 to complete an online form and receive a PDF of field-test materials, which include brief interactive readings for Ash Wednesday through Easter Sunday.
After Lent is over, we ask that you complete a simple online evaluation form by April 15, 2013 to tell us what worked and what didn’t work for you and your family. As a thank-you for your important feedback, Faith Alive will send the first fifty people who respond a complimentary copy of Come to Me when it’s published. But even if you’re not among those fifty, your input will play an important part in shaping this valuable resource for families!
We hope you’ll consider joining our field test. If you have any questions or would like more information, please call us at 800-333-8300.
