Our worship committee meets monthly and we always start our meetings with a time of devotions that will help us better understand worship and plan worship services that glorify God and engage our congregation in authentic and meaningful worship.
We're looking for suggestions of devotional resources. Any ideas?

We just released a Do Justice podcast season on Worship! While the full episodes might be a bit long for devotions a clip or two might be inspiring?

Thank you so much! I'll take a look at them.

If your team is prepared to dive a bit deeper, I had a worship leader friend recommend the book "Pure Praise". (I haven't done it myself.) It's a nine-week personal Bible study combined with group sessions. She says it would be great to have anyone involved in worship at your church do it along with your Worship Committee!

Thank you. It sounds very interesting; I will take a look at it.

"Worship Matters" by Bob Kaughlin is an excellent resource. He also made a video and discussion questions to go with each chapter.
Also, CICW published "Worship in the Joy of the Lord: Selections from Chip Stam's Worship Quote of the Week" and it is FULL of short, excellent thoughts on worship. An easy go-to source for devotions material!
Thanks Kyle. I'll check them out. I'm quite intrigued by the 'Worship in the Joy of the Lord", something a little shorter. We are just finishing up the 'A More Profound Alleluia' book which had a chapter on the different parts of the worship service by various contributors. It has been very good.

I really appreciated the worship-themed devotions that were in the Dec 2015 Words of Hope. I kept a copy in my worship resources. If I uploaded it correctly, you should be able access it on my Google Drive: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1uMzdot4YioTzZSkBxAI2p3DsB2tWHyqV/view?usp=sharing.
Thank you! It downloaded easily for me. I'll add it to my list to check it out.
