When cruising around The Network, have you ever thought: "They should really blog about ..." Now you can use this handy-dandy form to suggest a blog topic for one of our Network sections.
It seems like a fair number of churches have turned former parsonages or other adjacent properties into ministry of one type or another. We already have ideas, but we're looking for more. If your church owns a nearby house ... how do you use it for ministry?
As we were developing The Network, someone suggested including a "My Church" feature where you can see a list of other Network users from YOUR own congregation. It's fun to browse questions and comments from people you know in real life.
Last Wednesday we sent an email to all CRC pastors and church offices. It's something we do very judiciously — in fact, it was our first email to pastors about The Network since the launch last February. Here's a copy of the email we sent.
Yesterday we added the Facebook widget as a slide on the CRCNA home page. It still throws me for a loop when I see my friends on CRCNA.org (when I'm logged into Facebook, that is). But it's certainly attention-getting — and that was the point.
