Daniel and the lions den is a classic Bible story that we learn about as young kids in Sunday school. It is about God's protection of Daniel. Who needs protection in our current world? This story reminds us about the global crisis of child marriages and that we need to continue to work towards a safe world, free from abuse.
I wonder what our faith communities would look like if we chose to embrace our tension and conflict, to value relationship with others more than being right.
