Article 71 directs Councils to diligently encourage the members of the congregation to establish and maintain good Christian Schools in which the biblical, Reformed vision of  Christ's lordship over all creation is clearly taught.

Who Should Participate in the "Laying on of Hands"?

Some of us on council believe that only other ministers of the Word who may be present should be invited to join the officiating pastor in the laying on of hands; others believe that the council executive or even all the elders and the deacons ought to be involved as well. Who’s right?

Do Ministers Vote in Council Meetings?

I'm getting mixed answers here on the Network, and it sounds like this may be more of pertinent in Canada with its rules for non-profit organizations. I may have missed it, but I do not see a line in Church Order that explicitly says whether ministers may or may not vote.
