Why not allow any individual who has been ordained as an Elder but is not serving a current term of office to represent the Classis at Synod?
We have an elder in our church who has stated that he "represents" a certain number of people that he feels are neglected, although they are long time members, some with a lot of influence. I thought that our form of church government was not to be representative. Any thoughts?

May grandparents present a grandson for infant baptism? The parents have no intention of joining, have no objections to the baptism, but won't be attending.
