After a year or more in the planning stage, our church finally has the go-ahead to demolish our building and build a new church. Do you have any suggestions for how to involve our kids in this service?

Sometimes people joke that watching Synod via the live stream is like watching a sporting event without the commentators. In the spirit of that, I created a post-game show for Synod 2017. I'd love to hear what you think.

What methods are you or your church using to be fair to those you support and yet keep it fresh?

As we go through Holy Week and celebrate Easter Sunday, I'd love to know: What traditions and/or parts of the week are most meaningful to you? 

I've spent plenty of time with other ministry leaders bemoaning the impact of the "fear of missing out" (FOMO). I'm done bemoaning this reality and instead want to ask: How can we find freedom from this idol?

Loving friendship covers a multitude of “sins” (for example, a Qur’anic ignorance). With friendship can come trust, curiosity and, yes, frankness. What are you doing to build friendships with Muslim neighbors?  

Imagine someone comes knocking at your door or at your church door asking for help. What are the first questions you ask them? 

Is our goal to evangelize our Muslim friends? Or is to promote social justice, community cohesion and peace? There isn't an easy answer except to enter into relationships with a spirit of honesty and authenticity.
