Psalm singing is most certainly making a comeback. How many (more or less complete) Psalm settings does your congregation know and love to sing? Which ones are your ‘heart songs’?

Enjoying creation in its fullness comes with taste, smell, sight, sound, and touch. What is the rhythm of your life where a moment comes and you say, TGIF?
I tell this story because it relates to one of my ongoing challenges in pastoral ministry: reading.
For a certain number of pastors Monday is their Sunday. Personally, I rarely take Monday off. I think that Rick Warren got it right when he said that he didn’t take Monday off because it was the day he was most wiped out.
If you live with a disability, what has your church done so that you know you a part of the church community? Or parents of a child with a disability, how did you know that you AND your child were welcome? Or church leaders, what is your church doing to welcome someone who is living with a disability?
This is the place (I hope) where deacons will gather to ask good questions, share good answers, and encourage and bless each other.
What else would you like to see in the Elders network? Please submit your ideas and suggestions.
Has you church recently launched a website? If so link to it in this discussion. Then if you need any help with it, one of the many experts that visit this site could provide feedback or help.
At the Calvin Symposium on Worship today, the suggestion was made for a repository of worship visuals and ideas for visuals be created. A place to show and tell what we did and why — for inspiration and, if permission is granted, for borrowing. Worth doing?
Is this really a role where God will use you to live out your calling? Check out this deacon's reflections on his role. Compare his mental pictures with your own.
I am curious about the number of churches using small groups as THE key component in their discipling of believers. And if you are how are they set up?
I would love to hear back from you sharing what type of ministry model you use in your church and why you chose it.
I have gone 15 times to Moscow to teach at a Bible College that was under Campus Crusades umbrella. I will most likely be heading there again to teach Gen - Deut (Oct. 18-29, 2010). I would love to see other colleagues of mine consider this 2 week teaching mission.
When Christians begin to talk about reconciliation we must not begin with racial reconciliation. I believe we must begin this conversation with a new vocabulary.
How do we rectify a system (missional communities/small groups) that is great, but rarely works for "the least of these" with a Savior who prioritized "the least of these"?
If you find it challenging to modernize your worship, what words of encouragement or advice can we give you? Ask away.
It's important that we work together to minister effectively with the people of Haiti. You may find other churches who are connected to the same orphanage or ministry by posting your involvement here.
I thought it would be cool to have a spot here where we share some great web site components and helpful resources.
I'm curious as to what software people are using to do scripture study and why.
I would love it if there would be a way to be notified of responses to threads, whether that be a feed on the threads I could subscribe to within The Network, or some other kind of notification.
solo quiero comenzar saludando a mis colegas y amigos.
I believe wholeheartedly that reflection is something that we as Christians need to integrate into our daily lives. Here's why.
Just wondering ... Is the plan to one day integrate all of what we currently find at www.crcna.org into www.crcna.org/Network?
What new songs (or not new, for that matter) are you excited about introducing to your congregation? I've really liked "Christ is Risen" by Matt Maher.
