I recently submitted a post buried in another thread asking for those interested in gathering with other Tech people to respond. I decided I would try again with a new thread to see if there is any real interest in what I am proposing which is a gathering of tech people.
Our church is currently using banners in our worship service that are 20+ years old! They were so well made that they just keep on going! We'd like to switch things up a bit and were wondering if there are any churches out there who would be willing to swap banners.
Many of us are looking to increase the use of multi-media tools and technology to enhance and make our worship more inspirational. One of the tools that most of us use is Microsoft's PowerPoint, or something like it. Has someone put together their own media workshop that they would be willing to share?
I am an interim pastor at Hillcrest CRC in Denver. This Sunday our church is hosting a service of congregations with people of Cambodian, Chinese, Native American, and English speaking backgrounds. Can you share one or two creative thoughts for such a service?

At the Calvin Symposium on Worship today, the suggestion was made for a repository of worship visuals and ideas for visuals be created. A place to show and tell what we did and why — for inspiration and, if permission is granted, for borrowing. Worth doing?
