How do I balance the busyness of being a youth pastor's wife, becoming a mother, and doing what I'm passionate about? I am slowly learning, and the following are three things I've figured out. I would love to hear further thoughts and suggestions if you have any.
As Christians who are trying to do ministry work, how many times have we started something with such a great attitude and motive, only to have it quickly turn into something we resent or get bored with?
So I'm on my own again. Me and the three kids. My husband, a youth pastor, is away for two nights for his job ... I'm going to share with you a few of the ones that help me through these times, and if you have some good ones to share, please post them and we can all help each other out!
At the end of a beautiful farewell evening at our church for my husband, who was the Youth Pastor, a woman came up to me and said "You worked just as hard as he did all these years, because you were the one who had to give him up every night and take care of your family on your own!" Her comment blessed me so much!
