My friend recently wrote this blog post and I thought this experience from her life may help us all understand more about living with trauma and the importance of boundaries.
When I first saw Frozen, I didn't quite get it. Why did it resonate with so many people? I actually remember saying I was unsure of the movie because of the “sassiness of some of the characters.” Since then, my perspective has changed.

The movement of #metoo didn’t start overnight. It didn’t even start after the allegations against Harvey Weinstein came out. Movements are slow things that hopefully last for the long haul.
Despite being called to this life, one aspect that I have been focusing on is that we, humans, are often caught sleeping. Simply put we need to wake up and realize all of life is a call to live abundantly!
The Ultimate Frisbee community, like any other group coming together over a shared affinity, has its own special values. As we integrate into these communities, we have an incredible opportunity to live out our faith.
