On August 16, 2020 we invite all congregations to participate in CRCNA Day of Justice as part of communal praying and crying out to God together.

The service of Tenebrae, meaning “darkness” or “shadows,” has been practiced by the church since medieval times.

This litany for family communion at home is similar to the traditional Jewish Passover celebration, in which young children ask adults about the meaning of what the family is doing together.
