Creston Church is a nearly 100 year old congregation in the Creston neighborhood of northeast Grand Rapids. The congregation is marked by a commitment to its urban neighborhood and to its neighbors. We value the economic and racial diversity of our community, and we desire to live in right relationship with God, each other and creation. The congregation is comprised of about eighty active adult members, nearly sixty regular attenders, and about thirty children, from infant to 12th grade. We value holistic faith formation for youth and adults alike, and have embodied this commitment in recent years through developing ministries such as small groups, monthly community dinners, community gardens and supporting the start of an urban farm.
