Dr. Andrew J. Schmutzer

About Me:

While I teach Old Testament and Hebrew at Moody Bible Institute, I'm also taking some time to write as a theological voice for sexual abuse advocacy. I enjoy collaborative writing with others. Recently I pull together 26 professionals from the disciplines of Psychology, Theology, and Pastoral Care. I think addressing sexual abuse in our churches is a complex issue that involves training and networking among many leaders. For further information, see my most recent book is entitled, The Long Journey Home: Understanding and Ministering to the Sexually Abused (Wipf and Stock, 2011). http://www.amazon.com/Long-Journey-Home-Understanding-Collaborative/dp/1...
