About Me:

Worship leader, teacher and occasional preacher with a passion for worship and for finding ways we can all live out Jesus radical call to Kingdom living in daily life. Right now I'm particularly interested in how this works in the workplace, but also in our local and global community. This comes out of my career in IT and business management, particularly in the financial services industry, where I find the rubber of my faith really meets the road.

Interests:

Theology, music (especially classical, jazz, blues, contemporary Christian), literature, lots of sports (especially cricket!)

  • We have for some years made a point of including children and teens in our worship teams, whether as instrumentalists or singers, or in technical roles (sound, projection, etc). For younger...

  • I couldn't agree more. The whole point of hiring according to God's will is that He has plans for the business into which we're hiring, and we're looking for the men and women He has invited into...

  • This approach seems to make obvious sense when hiring in a Christian context. But does it also have application in a "secular" context? For example, if a Christian manager in a secular...

  • An area that is worth watching is faith in the workplace, in which there are several good blogs going. For example the work section of The High Calling (http://www.thehighcalling.org/work) and the...
