I want to invite you to come together in fellowship with the Women’s Leadership Ministry. On the evening of August 3rd (before the start of Inspire 2022) in Chicago Ill., we’ll be hosting a banquet to celebrate the gifts of women and men and observe 25 years of women’s ordination in the CRCNA. My vision is to fill the event with men and women who are grateful for the denomination welcoming the gifts of women in their churches.

25th Celebration Banquet

This evening event is designed to thank everyone, both the women and men, who have worked to advance the women in office dialogue in the denomination, who tirelessly advocate for progress, and who counted the cost for their participation. Let’s recognize those involved on the front lines as well as their invaluable support persons - spouses, friends, congregants - whose roles have been just as vital!

The keynote speaker is Rev. Dr. Ruth Haley Barton and she’ll be talking about "Women and Men in Transforming Community: Renewing our Vision for Partnering Together in Christ." For over 20 years, Barton has ministered to the soul care needs of pastors and leaders based upon her conviction that the best thing we bring to leadership is our own transforming selves.

Morning Workshop

The next morning (August 4th) there will be an one-hour workshop where we’ll be looking forward and planning ahead. Dr Rob Dixon will lead us in a discussion about “Together in Ministry: Women and Men in Flourishing Partnerships.” Dixon is the author of the book Together in Ministry.

Inspire 2022

The Inspire 2022 convention officially begins after the workshop. This year's theme is Inspired to be One and that is our hope for all.
