Worship Leaders - Who are you and what are you called?

Do you plan, lead, direct, coordinate, or pastor in the area of worship? The Worship Ministries office is gathering information from all who serve in the area of worship in the Christian Reformed Church. There are many titles to describe what you do - Worship Director, Worship Coordinator, Worship Leader, Worship planning team, Creative Arts, Music Director, and on and on. You get the picture. Many names for the many things we do.

There is so much beautiful diversity in our CRC churches and so many gifts and needs in our churches, we know we can't put everyone into the same box. But we would like to get a better snapshot of who we are. Who are you, and what do they 'call' you in your church? You can help us by filling out this quick, anonymous survey about your role or job. And then respond to this post with just your title. Let's see what we get.

One more thing, do you have a job description for the work you do in worship at your church? Would you be so kind as to send us a copy? Please email us at [email protected].

Worship Arts Director (soon to be ordained as Worship Arts Pastor, Lord willing)

Could you adjust question 7? I have no official training in music or theology so there is no option that applies to me, and it won't let me choose nothing...

Try it now - I've added a category - No formal training.

This probably applies to many people - thank you for pointing this out.
