In this webinar, Dr. Brock and Chaplain Keizer will discuss the definition and causes of moral injury, how it differs from post-traumatic stress disorder and what is involved in the recovery process. They'll also share about the importance of congregations and communities in the process of soul repair.

She’s the daughter of a Korean War veteran, stepdaughter of a veteran of World War II and the Vietnam War, and was raised in a military family. She and Gabriella Lettini co-authored Soul Repair: Recovery from Moral Injury after War. Chaplain (Colonel) Herman Keizer, Jr. was drafted and served as a Chaplain Assistant from 1962-1964. He was commissioned as a Chaplain in 1968 and served until retirement from the military in 2002. He then served as the Director of Chaplaincy Ministries for the Christian Reformed Church until 2009.
