New Elders: Key Understanding and Practices

When we are called to serve as an elder, we enter a new way of experiencing church. The responsibilities of church leadership and guiding the faith life of individuals and families require new focus and reflection. How do I exercise my leadership function? When does oversight become overbearing? For which key dangers should I be alert? What do I need to learn to better fulfill my calling?
