Full-time Pastor at Bethel CRC (Brockville, ON)

 The church family at Bethel CRC in Brockville, Ontario is celebrating God’s work and leading in our congregation as we seek to call a full-time pastor for our church.  We have a unique and exciting opportunity, as the person accepting this full-time pastor position would benefit from a mentoring relationship with our current pastor as he moves toward retirement.

 Mentoring is becoming a priority in our life at Bethel Church.  During the last four years, the Council and congregation have been led to move away from programs and to develop a renewed expression of ministry, focused on growing in faith, growing in relationships, and growing out into the community. An important aspect of this is the development of mentoring relationships in our church family, including to work with Generation Spark. Currently, this is focused on our youth, with the intention of growing into more age groups. We intend to develop this ministry with a part-time staff position, which we anticipate will be filled by our current pastor when our new full-time pastor arrives.
