Full-time Pastor for Faith Christian Fellowship CRC (Walnut Creek, CA)

Faith Christian Fellowship (FCF), a Christian Reformed Church (CRC) located in beautiful Walnut Creek, California, is seeking a pastor to lead it into a new era in the life of the congregation. FCF is a small congregation located strategically in the San Francisco Bay area. We are looking for leadership grounded in the scriptures, rooted in the historic theology of the Church, and guided by grace and compassion.

We believe that as we become larger, we must become deeper, that as we serve others, we must serve the Lord, and that as we grasp the mystery of faith we must learn better the ways of Jesus Christ. We seek as a pastor someone who shares our vision and together with us can put that vision into action, equipping the congregation to grow in God.

In this position, you would be serving in the East Bay community of Walnut Creek and the communities nearby. Walnut Creek is surrounded by hills, adjacent to Berkeley and Oakland, a BART ride away from downtown San Francisco.

The immediate neighborhood of the church includes single family houses, apartment complexes, schools, and shopping. The area is laced with trails for walking, running, and biking.

The church campus includes a parsonage, offices and classrooms (occupied by a school during the week), and a large sanctuary.
