Thrive has recently had conversations with multiple churches that are considering ordaining a commissioned pastor for a worship position. There are lots of questions about the process, the polity aspect, what it means for the church, and when/why to consider it.

On September 21 at 1:00 EST, Thrive hosted a zoom roundtable for a conversation about this role. Elly Boersma Sarkany (St. Catherines), Stefan Human (Strathroy East), Daniel Le Forestier (Whitby) and Katie Roelofs (Thrive) are CP's. Marja Fledderus (Ancaster) has her classical exam this fall.
