Advent in the Atrium

'Tis the season to make music!

The CRC staff at "1700" have been blessed with music of the Advent and Christmas season. For the last several years, groups of young people from several of the local schools have come during the lunch hour to sing or play their instruments. What a treat it is for employees to be inspired and encouraged by these young people and their directors.

Pictured is the seventh grade orchestra from Grand Rapids Christian Middle School and director, Cyndi Betts. Also participating has been the Calvin Christian High School Strings and choral group, Unity Christian High School orchestra, and South Christian High School madrigals and choral group.

"It is good to give thanks to the Lord,
to sing praises to your name, O Most High;
to declare your steadfast love in the morning,
and your faithfulness by night,
to the music of the lute and the harp,
to the melody of the lyre."

Psalm 92: 1-3
