Cultural Intelligence Workshop: Why do I label people? Everybody does that. We've been doing it for years and years, it's true. But not everything that we've been doing for years means it’s good, or bad. But, it is good to think about it and evaluate it. I'm sure you have heard about Cultural Intelligence. So, why attend a workshop? All of us have different ways of learning. There's a large percentage of people who like to learn with others, in conversations, and in listening to stories, and that can happen in a safe environment in our workshops. Get the details below.

Stand Against Racism Event: Stand Against Racism takes place annually in April and is a signature campaign of YWCA USA to raise awareness about the negative impact of institutional and structural racism in our communities and to build community among those who work for racial justice. This event is focused on understanding how White individuals engage and understand the work of anti-racism.

  • Location: Prince Conference Center in Grand Rapids, Mich.
