Lead Minister of Vision - St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church Calgary, Alberta, Canada

St. Andrew’s team ministry model provides a unique opportunity to lead our congregation in collaboration with two other peers. Each of our three full-time ministers has a distinct mandate that allows each to focus on his or her greatest strengths and gifts, while working in partnership to develop leadership and spiritual growth within our community.

The primary role of the Minister, Vision and Direction is to lead us in the discernment and pursuit of God’s vision and direction for St. Andrew’s. As a result, the minister in this role is responsible for 75%-80% of preaching on Sunday mornings, acts as the primary moderator of session, and has oversight of staffing and operations within our vibrant congregation of over 700 members and adherents. In the context of the ministerial team, this role is considered the “first among equals,” which includes formal leadership as required, particularly in the alignment of the ministry plans with the overall vision of St. Andrew’s.

For a complete job description, congregational profile, or to submit an application, please contact either of our Interim Moderators, The Rev. Dr. Jean Morris jeanm@gracecalgary.org and The Rev. Dianne Ollerenshaw at dianne.ollerenshaw@gmail.com
