Global Coffee Break

Coffee Break began as a small ministry that has grown into what is now known as Global Coffee Break. The ministry was created in the U.S in the 1970s and made its first international debut during the 1990s. Coffee Break has become a resource for those in Korea and 14 other countries in 55 different denominations. Coffee Break Discover Your Bible series are used by many groups and individuals. There are a variety of settings where Coffee break groups meet. Leaders and members come from different backgrounds and sometimes require other materials.

Studies in Other Languages — Materials are currently available in Spanish, Korean, Japanese, and Basic English. Translations into Chinese and Hindi are underway. For a complete list of countries where studies are being used, visit the Global Coffee Break page below. In addition to the Discover Series, Men’s groups also use  Discover Life materials. The two series are similar with the main difference being that Discover Life includes the passages on the page whereas Discover Your Bible includes more study questions.

ESL Groups — Basic English studies are used by English as a Second Language groups. The studies include a glossary and study notes. English language learners find these studies more simple and easy to read.

Korean Speaking Groups — Materials are also available in the Korean language and are used both in the U.S and abroad.

Prison Ministries — Inmates and mentors partner together with Coffee Break to form individual study groups as well as meet in small groups within the prison.
