DRS Sunday: Blue Skies

Celebrate Hope After Disasters!Share the story of hope by encouraging your church to hold a DRS Sunday. Your financial gifts and volunteer recruitment will help renew communities affected by disasters in the months and years after the actual disaster.

When a natural disaster hits, clouds are looming and the need is obvious. But what about when skies are blue?

Maybe you’ve asked yourself:
Do people really still need help when the weather is nice?
Is there work to be done when the sun is shining?
Are my donations needed even if there hasn’t been a disaster recently?
The answers are Yes. Yes. AND YES!

As a church family, your gifts to and volunteer efforts with World Renew (DRS) truly make a difference for those who, without your support, might be forgotten and left feeling hopeless. Your offerings are crucial to ensuring this ministry can continue, and your support changes stories from one of loss and discouragement to one of hope and love in Christ’s name--especially when skies are blue.

We invite your church to hold a DRS Sunday in 2017, and be a part of changing the story by
