The resources included on this page are intended to strengthen and encourage small groups and house churches as we navigate partial reopening, in all the stages between "total lockdown" and "total reopening" of physical buildings. We will continue to update this post with relevant, trusted resources as we become aware of them. Please feel free to check back here often.

Small Groups and House Churches

  • Starting in September 2020, Faith Formation Ministries will provide resources that focus on one faith practice (spiritual discipline) each month for 12 months. Consider encouraging small groups to explore these practices together. Look for information coming in July via the CRCNA’s For Pastors e-newsletter and FFM’s e-newsletter, Faith Formation Matters.

  • Interested in an online workshop with Faith Formation Ministries? Find here a list of workshops which an be hosted live online via Zoom for CRC churches, ministry teams, and small groups at no cost to you. The workshops are highly interactive and allow for discussion and strategizing.

Ideas for Intergenerational Small Groups

Gathering in small groups with people of all ages can have a profound impact on the faith formation of kids, teens, and adults alike.
