Job Description

Do you have an enthusiasm for youth and young families? Do you want to use your gifts and talents in ministry while exploring growth opportunities? Perhaps God is calling you to be the new Director/Associate Pastor of Youth and Family Ministries at First Reformed Church.

First Reformed Church is seeking someone to lead and expand our youth and family ministry. You will lead a group of dedicated individuals that have a deep commitment to this effort. The youth program is established, ministering to community youth from all denominational backgrounds, but the position itself will be new, so there will be flexibility for this leader to expand into other areas. We’re not only concerned about our growth; we’re concerned about yours too.

Volga is a thriving community just five miles from Brookings, SD (home of South Dakota State University). Its proximity allows for a rural feel while still being close to all the amenities of a larger location. Our church and community are growing, and we seek to bring Jesus to more individuals and families.

If this role sounds like a good fit or you’d like to learn more, feel free to reach out to Dori Ohm at [email protected]  We’d love to hear from you—just send over your resume and a short cover letter!
