Drayton Reformed Church is committed to upholding the Truth of God’s word and being authentic in our worship of Him. We desire to grow continually closer to the Lord and strive to identify and share our spiritual gifts to build each other up as well as provide meaningful help to those in need within our church, community, and the world.


We are searching for a full-time co-pastor who can fulfill the needs of our congregation as listed below:
1. Preaching
To serve Drayton Reformed Church by working alongside the Co-Pastor and the Board of Elders to a) Faithfully Preach God's Word and to administer the holy sacraments of baptism and the Lord's Supper
2. Children and Youth Ministry
To serve Drayton Reformed Church by working alongside the Co-Pastor and the Elder of Education to faithfully teach and mentor our children and youth according to Biblical truths. The Co-Pastor will provide leadership for junior (grades 7-8) and senior (grades 9-12) youth, provide support for Sunday school programming for kids ages 3 to grade 8, and also lead catechism classes for the youth.
3. Spiritual Life
To serve Drayton Reformed Church working alongside the Spiritual life committee to develop/support/encourage small group ministry within the church.
4. Pastoral Care and Visitation
To serve Drayton Reformed Church by working alongside Board of Elders. The Co-Pastor will oversee and engage in pastoral visitation to church families, new and prospective members, and members of the community, will offer pastoral counselling, and will oversee mentoring ministry to couples considering marriage. They will also serve Drayton Reformed Church by working alongside the Elder for Congregational Care, overseeing and engaging in pastoral visitation to the elderly and homebound, administering the Lord's Supper at long-term residential facilities and the homes of shut-ins, and developing a ministry of Christian care in and around the church.
5. Ministry in the Church and Community
To serve the local community by working alongside church members and community members to establish and foster positive relationships amongst families and individuals. The Co-Pastor will implement ministries that reach out to the un-churched, inactive, and prospective members and new residents of our community with the good news of the Gospel. The Co-Pastor will serve Drayton Reformed Church by working alongside local churches in providing leadership and support in planning and implementing an annual Vacation Bible School.
6. Administration
To serve Drayton Reformed Church by working alongside the President of Consistory to provide administrative staff support, engage in church program planning, represent DRC at Ontario classis and General Synod. 


*Division of responsibilities for the Pastors will be based on personal strengths and Ministry Gifts, to be discussed between the Pastors and Consistory.
