Full-Time Director of Worship at Bethel Church (Lansing, IL)

Bethel Church in Lansing, Illinois is seeking a full-time Director of Worship. Bethel Church is a congregation of 200+ attenders and sits less than a mile from the Indiana border in the Chicagoland area. 

Vision for Worship: We have a congregation with divergent musical taste. Our vision is to worship with a wide balance of music styles and worship liturgies. We are committed to creating a worship experience that better leads us to focus on worshiping our God and Savior. 

PURPOSE: The purpose of the Worship Director, in conjunction with the Lead Pastor, is to develop and lead us in an inspiring, God-glorifying worship of a creative and multi-generational style that helps us hear from and respond to our God.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Must believe in God the Father, Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, and Holy Spirit as the Holy Trinity and subscribe to the Reformed Doctrines.
• Have a passion for leading God's people in worship.
• Demonstrated musical talent with instruments or vocals.
• Bachelor's degree in Worship Ministry preferred.
• Excellent planning and organizational skills.
• Must become a member of Bethel Church
