Role Overview

The Pastor of Destination Church serves as the primary preacher and spiritual leader of the congregation. This role requires vision, leadership, and compassion to guide the church in its mission of introducing people to Jesus Christ and transforming lives within the St. Thomas community.

Key Responsibilities

• Preaching and Teaching: Deliver biblically grounded and inspiring sermons to a diverse congregation, helping them connect the Word to practical situations.
• Vision Leadership: Help lead the church in implementing and growing its vision to empower the poor, strengthen the weak, and seek the lost within the community.
• Staff and Volunteer Leadership: Oversee church staff and volunteer teams, fostering a collaborative and supportive ministry environment.
• Congregational Care: Connect with and provide pastoral care to the church community, offering guidance, support, and encouragement in their faith journeys.
• Community Engagement: Actively engage with local community initiatives, ensuring that Destination Church continues to be a welcoming and impactful presence in St. Thomas.
