Is God calling you to a new opportunity? The community of Holland Marsh have an open door for you to use your gifts God has given you!
We are seeking a full time Pastor who will guide our congregation in our walk with God who is inspirational, a demonstrated leader, who is a gifted and effective preacher, shepherd, teacher and mentor, who is caring, engaging with members and the community, who provides pastoral care, promoting the faith formation of members, instructing the covenant youth, giving visionary leadership and administration for our council.
Holland Marsh CRC is situated in a rural agriculture community, which is sometimes referred to the “Salad Bowl of Ontario” known for its rich dark peat soil, which produces some of Ontario’s best carrots, onions and other fresh vegetables. Holland Marsh is located 40 kms north of the City of Toronto and 40 kms south of the City of Barrie, just east of highway 400 and north of highway 9. We enjoy rural life, but the community is close enough to urban centres to take in many of its cultural diversities and attractions but also close enough to enjoy God’s unspoiled nature and the outdoor activities of hiking and camping to the north. Holland Marsh CRC began its existence on July 15, 1934 with four members meeting in a hen’s house and by September service were held in the homes with those in attendance bring their own chairs.
