Stephenville CRC Values:

As a church, we value these 6 statements as both what we want and who we hope we can be:

  1. Strong Biblical preaching and teaching.
  2. A growing knowledge of God’s Word.
  3. A personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
  4. Strong relationships where every person is valued, from the youngest to the oldest.
  5. A Christian world and life view is taught and modeled in the home, church, and school.
  6. Unity, but not necessarily uniformity.

Our values will be seen as we carry out the following goals in our vision for our church:

  1. Grow stronger through worship.
    • We gather together regularly as God’s people to give praise, honor, and glory to God in our singing, our prayers, and in giving of our tithes and offerings. We also seek to be inspired and fed by the preaching of God’s Word.
  2. Grow deeper through discipleship.
    • We seek to live out our lives as Christ’s disciples by growing in the knowledge of Christ and His Word; by living that out in our daily lives.
  3. Grow broader through ministry.
    • We will minister to each other in the body and to our community by equipping members to use their gifts and talents in service to Christ.
  4. Grow warmer through fellowship.
    • We desire that every person who calls this church their home will have a deep sense of belonging, from the youngest to the oldest.
  5. Grow larger through evangelism.
    • We wish to share Jesus and His love by word and by deed with our world.
