Love Grows Here
Are you looking for a small faithful congregation that believes following God’s ways doesn’t end when we walk out of the sanctuary? We are a fun, loving, relaxed congregation with great compassion and love for all as we strive to live our slogan of “Love Grows Here.”
Love grows here in our prayer life, in our missions, in our faithfulness, in our love for one another, and in our service to the community. We support a number of local to international missions. We take our faith seriously, but ourselves not so much.
We are looking for a partner that will be a teacher as well as a preacher, ideally based in Reformed Theology. We are looking for someone who is humorous, enthusiastic, innovative, and approachable. Someone who will help us navigate toward the future God has planned for us. We are looking for someone who is comfortable in the pulpit, on the streets, and teaching/leading small groups of our multi-generation congregation.
God has blessed us with a dedicated group of good stewards whose giving of time and talents has led to capital improvements and financial healthiness. A parsonage with full utilities is available as part of this position. We are located in Wallkill, NY (halfway between New York City and Albany). Wallkill is a great place to live and raise a family with a great school district and plenty of historic, cultural, and recreational activities.
We have faith that God will lead our next Pastor to us. It could be you! Will you be our partner to continue our mission to nurture the love that grows here?
“A new command I give to you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.” John 13:34
