Monocacy Valley Church (MVC), a congregation of the Reformed Church in America (RCA), seeks a full-time senior pastor. We seek an RCA Minister of Word and Sacrament or a recent seminary graduate eligible for ordination. Pastoral responsibilities include preaching and leading worship, administering the sacraments, visitation, oversight of our small, but growing, Christian education program, and being a visible presence in our community. The senior pastor also serves as the head of staff for the church and president of the board of directors for our 40-student Promising Horizons Learning Center preschool. MVC is located in a suburb of Frederick, Maryland, and is a member church of the Classis of New Brunswick. We are a small but diverse congregation that wants to grow in numbers and in ministry here in the National Capital Region and are prayerfully seeking a pastor to share in that desire.
We will consider ministers from our Formula of Agreement denominations: Presbyterian Church USA (PCUSA), United Church of Christ (UCC), or Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). Ministers from the Christian Reformed Church in North America (CRCNA) are also welcome to apply. A full-time or bi-vocational position is negotiable. If you feel called to explore this opportunity, please email us at: [email protected] by April 30, 2026. Please attach your minister profile or equivalent document.
