East Christian Reformed Church is a vibrant and welcoming faith community located in the heart of Strathroy, Ontario. We are seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Pastor to provide spiritual leadership and guidance to our congregation. The Senior Pastor will serve as the spiritual shepherd of our church, overseeing all aspects of pastoral ministry, teaching, and pastoral care.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Spiritual Leadership: Provide visionary leadership and spiritual direction to the congregation in alignment with our church's mission and values.

  2. Preaching and Teaching: Deliver engaging, biblically-based sermons and teachings that inspire and challenge the congregation to grow in their faith.

  3. Pastoral Care: Provide compassionate pastoral care, counseling, and support to individuals and families in times of need or crisis.

  4. Worship Leadership: Oversee and participate in planning and leading worship services that promote meaningful and authentic worship experiences.

  5. Discipleship and Outreach: Promote discipleship growth within the congregation and encourage active involvement in local and global mission and outreach initiatives.

  6. Collaboration: Work closely with church staff, elders, and volunteers to coordinate and support various ministries and programs.

  7. Community Engagement: Build and maintain positive relationships within the local community, fostering opportunities for outreach and engagement.
