PART-TIME POSITION Pre-K and Kinder Ministry Staff

Ministry Purpose
The Pre-K and Kinder Ministry Staff supports the spiritual growth of young children by creating a loving, Christ-centered environment where they can experience God's love through worship, biblical teaching, and community. This role partners with families and the church to help lay a strong spiritual foundation during early childhood.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and leading Sunday worship services and Bible lessons for Pre-K and Kinder children
• Prepare and facilitate age-appropriate curriculum, activities, and classroom materials
• Support and collaborate with volunteer teachers and ministry leaders
• Help maintain consistent communication with parents and caregivers
• Assist in organizing seasonal events and programs (e.g., VBS, holiday events)
• Track attendance and support basic administrative tasks
• Ensure a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment for all children
• Work collaboratively with the Children's Ministry team and church staff

Qualifications

• A personal and growing relationship with Jesus Christ
• Passion for children's ministry and early childhood spiritual development
• Ability to engage and care for young children in a nurturing way
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable, responsible, and able to work well in a team
• Basic organizational and administrative skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in children's ministry, Sunday school, or early childhood education
• Background in Theology, Ministry, or Early Childhood Education
• Bilingual in Korean and English (preferred in multicultural settings)
• Experience with worship leading, storytelling, or interactive teaching

Work Schedule & Expectations

• Part-time · Primarily Sundays
• Additional hours for preparation, meetings & special events
• Teacher meetings, training sessions & church-wide events

Compensation
Monthly Compensation

• In Seminary (Part-Time) $1,200 – $1,400
• Out of Seminary (Part-Time) $1,500 – $1,800
