Overview:
Bethel Community Church is looking for a Youth Ministry Director, it is a .5 FTE with the potential for
more hours as the youth ministry grows. The successful candidate will be someone who can curate ,
promote and build an environment where teenagers are discipled in their faith and grow in community,
as well as partner with and support families as they nurture their child’s spiritual walk. The candidate
would have to have strong skills in leadership, volunteer recruitment and administration duties. They
should also have a passion for discipleship through Bible study, extra-curricular activities, and family
ministry.
Qualifications:
● Post-secondary education for ministry or a proven record of experience in Youth Ministry
● A love for God and youth ministry, with a deep desire for youth to know and love God
● A mature faith, displaying the fruit of a life being sanctified by Christ
● Is Biblically and theologically knowledgeable
● Excellent in-person and digital communication skills
● Ability to organize people and programs
● Must be in agreement with the statement of faith and creeds of the Christian Reformed Church
● Must be willing to become a member of Bethel Community Church
● Criminal record check and intervention records check
