To say it's been a strange few months would be like saying the sky is blue. COVID-19 has changed the way we work, the way we shop, the way we celebrate milestones, and the way we connect with our loved ones. But it's also changed the way we worship and serve as the church. As a pastor, church staff member, or ministry leader you've been adjusting to the host of changes and opportunities that have landed on your plate as a result of the novel coronavirus pandemic.
To support you and your church's ministry in this new and different season of ministry, Calvin Seminary is launching eight different online courses this summer. Each course focuses on a topic that has particular relevance in a world shaped by COVID-19. Discipleship, worship, leadership, finances, pastoral care, and children’s ministry are just some of the ministry areas explored.
Courses are three weeks long with a time commitment of roughly four hours per week. The first term begins June 1st with two additional terms following (June 22–July 10, and July 13–31). Not only do you choose which term best fits your schedule, you also choose when to access the online material during the course period.
There are two pricing options:
Audit a course: $104
Complete all course requirements, but do not earn credit. This option is intended for those looking for continuing education, professional development, or simply personal lifelong learning (Alumni of Calvin Seminary may audit one course free of charge!).
For Credit: $514 per course
Earn credit toward a program at Calvin Seminary or transfer the credit to another graduate school.
To register, click on the link below and complete the form at least two weeks before the start of the course you intend to enroll in. You may sign up for multiple courses in the same term, or across more than one term.
It's our vision at Calvin Seminary to prepare leaders who nurture disciples and serve the church. It's our hope that these courses will further equip you to serve for such a time as this!
