In our current moment, conversations around immigration and refugee resettlement in both the U.S. and Canada are often marked by tension, polarization, and fatigue. The headlines can feel overwhelming. The policies are constantly shifting. And even within our church communities, we may carry differing views, lived experiences, or uncertainties on how to faithfully respond.
That’s why we invite you into a different kind of space.
This virtual event is designed not only to inform, but to connect us in a deeper, more grace-filled way. It is an opportunity to hear timely updates, explore our shared biblical call to welcome the stranger, and—perhaps most importantly—talk with one another in a spirit of respectful curiosity and faith. Through facilitated small group discussions, we hope to foster understanding and inspire fresh imagination for what a faithful, hope-filled response can look like in our communities.
