Church leaders (especially deacons) will find this information helpful in assisting congregation members who need home remodeling for better accessibility. For people living with physical or other disabilities, or seniors aging in place, the fact that much of the world outside is not built to accommodate their needs magnifies the value of a comfortable home.

This site includes suggestions for planning a remodeling project; creating accessible approaches, landscapes, doorways, flooring, bathrooms, kitchens, and federal (U.S.) resources for veterans, seniors, and people with disabilities.
