The DisAbility Ministries Committee of the United Methodist Church helped put together the May/June 2014 issue of New World Outlook, the mission magazine of the United Methodist Church. You will find this to be a good resource. Articles include 

"Embracing Deaf Ministry" [Bishop Peggy A. Johnson shares how the church has integrated Deaf ministry and members into the life of the church.]

"Seeing the Light: Ministry With Disability" [Coming to terms with a genetic eye disorder, the Rev. Eric Pridmoresees the light and works for disability rights within the church.]

"Opening Doors for All God’s People" [Assisting churches through accessibility audits help churches determine how best to make church buildings accessible to all people.]
